Not now, not EVER.
Do I know what to do next? Heck no.
Can I see a clear path to victory?
Absolutely not.
Am I certain we can win? Not at all.
DOESN’T MATTER.
Like our Founding Fathers before us, we don’t fight because it’s clear we can win. We fight because the fight MATTERS.
I never wanted our great nation anywhere near the desperate and dark hour she’s in now, but I’ll be DAMNED before I become a summer soldier or a sunshine patriot.
I’ll stand and fight until the end even it’s just me fighting. But it won’t be. Patriots across this nation are getting madder and more determined to fight until we're victorious.
This isn’t about catchphrases or acting tough. We are in a messy, long war and we all need to stand fast and stand firm.
Thomas Paine said it best:
“Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.
Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.”
