Your Morals, Choices, and Opinions are just that.
They are not mine. They never will be, and that’s a VERY good thing.
I have relatives who matter a great deal to me who have received the COVID shot. It’s not technically a vaccine, and I think it’s incredibly disingenuous and manipulative to refer to it as such.
For all of those who are in legitimate risk groups I think you absolutely should get the shot. Anyone else who for whatever reason wants to get the shot should absolutely get it. No one has a right to question either decision.
However, the choice to avoid the COVID shot should be respected JUST AS MUCH as the choice to get it.
I am comparatively young, and in reasonably good health. I have no desire to get a shot for a disease with a substantial recovery rate that poses no threat to me or anyone I come in contact with.
The individual decision is the key. I encourage everyone to reject, question and push back HARD against any all attempts to manipulate, coerce, or force you to get the shot.
The choice to get or reject the shot is one you GET to make for yourself. Respectfully turn your back or display specific raised fingers to anyone who is attempting to make this decision for you.
We’ve fought wars for less, and we need to fight just as hard now. We all need to act with tenacity and unflinching resistance to ALL of these assaults on our nation and ourselves.
To quote Jared Whitley in his recent opinion piece for TownHall: “Single-minded contrariness goes very quickly from vice to virtue depending on where it is aimed.”
Acquire the virtue of single-minded contrariness towards this vast assault on our nation and the Christian faith that remains its foundation. With God’s help and guidance, we will prevail if we hold fast without wavering. This has never been more important than right now.
